The Club has purpose built Snooker Room with 2 full size championship tables. The Snooker Committee runs a wide range of events during the year:

Snooker handicaps – Singles and Doubles take place in the autumn months.
The Club Snooker Championship Singles and Doubles take place in the spring.
Thursday night blitz is a vibrant fun social event that takes place every Thursday between September and April. Just come along at around 8pm and enter.
The Club also has two annual Inter Club matches with Howth Golf Club for The Des Moran Trophy and the Reggie Bradshaw trophy.

We also have teams who play for the Peninsula Cup – a league format between the Howth Yacht Club, Howth Golf Club and Sutton LTC.

The Snooker Season starts in early September with the Thursday Night Blitz which runs up to early December.

The Snooker Handicap Events Singles & Doubles commence in October and run til Christmas.

We have a Home & Away Match for the higher handicap players against Howth GC one before Christmas ( Reg Bradshaw Trophy) one after Christmas ( Des Moran Trophy).

The Trianglar Snooker Trophy played by Howth YC Howth GC & Sutton LTC. In early January the Thursday Night Blitz resumes up until Easter.

The Snooker Championships Singles & Doubles starts in February.There is also a Very Active ”Rovers 60” Snooker event running during the day for our retired members.
