    EUROPEAN TEAM CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS UPDATE

The Mens Team finished in 7th Place in a match that brought the result down to points. They ended 2/2 in matches and even in games so it then goes down to how many points they got in each game and the Boys clinched it!!!

The Women beat S C Sandweiler Club from Luxembourg in their final match winning 3/0 and finishing in 6th place. Breanne Flynn had a incredible week losing only one match and winning some very valuable matches.

Breanne and Sam are currently on the PSA Tour and should be very proud of their results. Lots of positives and belief for their journeys as they continue to move up the rankings.

Well done to all: Breanne Flynn, Alessia Osborne, Stephanie Ryan, Aoileann Ní Chomhraí, Sam Buckley, Oisin Logan, Gavin L'Estrange, Dean Dromgoole and Luke Logan who stepped in as sub in Conor's absence. Thanks to all who helped make it happen. It is an honour to play for your club and they wore the crest proudly.

LEINSTER SQUASH LEAGUE – PLEASE LET US KNOW

Each year we enter Senior Squash League Teams in the Leinster Squash Leagues Competition. Sutton pride themselves in the fact that we have committed and strong League Teams and featured for many years in the winning circle. We had a very successful season 2023/24 and hope to enter more teams this year.

Mens Teams are made up of 5 players and Ladies 4 players. It is a great opportunity to compete as a team in such an individual sport. Matches are Home and Away throughout Leinster and run from October until approximately March/April and it is followed by Cup Competition, which is a knockout system.

It is important to get commitments from players who will make themselves available for the matches each week both home and away. There are many divisions of different standards from Premier to Division 6.
