Membership Fees
Subs are now overdue for anyone not on direct debit and not paid yet. Your account will more than likely be locked for bookings and for door access, so please contact us on info@suttonltc.com if you have any issues in payment, to pay over the phone or indeed to set up a direct debit over the remaining months.
Gents Changing Rooms
There will be some additional works carried out in the gents’ showers in the coming week or so, please be patient with us as we may have to block off the showers completely while the works are being completed.
Reduce Speed
We are approaching a very busy period next week with kids Summer Camps and our Junior Summer Tennis Programme starting, be vigilant when entering the car park drive slowly. Also, ensure to follow driveway etiquette, give way to oncoming cars entering the driveway. When turning into the club please do not cut the corner as a car could be there trying to leave, there is plenty of space for this if your road positioning is correct.

DLTC Summer League Round Up
Congratulations to our Mens 2nd Team in Class 3, Captained by Ray Conboy, who have progressed to the quarter-final stage of summer league with a win over Donnybrook on Wednesday
They play their quarter-final, which is a promotion match, this Saturday against Clontarf 2nds in Clontarf LTC at 4pm. Supporters welcome.
In the other play-off matches this week our Ladies 3rds in class 3 and our Mens 4ths in class 5 faced tough opposition to end their summer league campaign. Sincere thanks to the team captains Lorraine Bracken and Bruno Haas and the players and subs who contributed to the teams reaching the play-offs
Court Requirements for DLTC Finals 29 June
All courts required from 9am - 6pm
We are delighted to be chosen to host DLTC Summer League finals on Saturday 29th June. This is an opportunity for Sutton LTC to show their appreciation to the volunteers on the Dublin Lawn Tennis Council on behalf of our senior and junior players who represent Sutton in the various leagues throughout the year.
Tennis court booking
As the courts are getting busier with the summer season, we ask players who book courts and cannot avail of their booking to cancel on the system. This allows other members to book the cancelled court. Thank you for your cooperation
Summer Handicaps
Entry for the Summer Handicaps will go live for online entry on next Tuesday 25th June. Final will take place on At Home day in September.

Our coaches are going to be the team managers! They'll be encouraging all their team to get their matches played and the losing coaches get soaked by the other teams on finals day!

Tennis Camps
Week 1 from July 1st to 5th starting to fill up. Our last week of Aug 19th - 23rd is nearly full already!
Our tennis camps are now live on smartclubcloud.com The Camps are open to members and non members aged 5 to 12. All levels can join. Non members can try tennis for the week and see if they like it.
Camps run 9am - 1pm each day and are led by our professional coaches from Sutton LTC.

Junior Summer Programme 2024
We are really pleased to announce our Junior Summer Tennis programme is live and ready to sign up for on SmartClub Cloud now!!
Ciaran McCarthy is our Junior Steward for the summer and the programme will start on 24th June and will run every afternoon for the whole Summer

Summer Training for Tournament level players
We will also be offering training for players who are competing in Junior opens this summer.
Our Pre East of Ireland Camp is now open to sign up on www.smartclubcloud.com
It runs from July 8th - 12th. 2pm - 5pm each day. You will need to add you name to the waiting list for camp and then Rob will add you if you are of the appropriate level. Players in camp must be competing in the East of Ireland or in similar events outside the club.

In particular we are bringing the masters events into the warmer part of the year so all that great tennis will be played in warm sunshine now!

Update your Tournament Software Account
As our busy tennis calendar gets underway we are asking players and parents/guardians of our junior players to log into their ti.tournament software accounts and check that all details ie Club, email address and mobile numbers are up-to-date.
In particular, please ensure that your mobile number is in the mobile number field in your account. This will ensure that you will receive text updates during tournaments when necessary.
To change Club on your account please email info@tennisireland.ie to request a change to Sutton LTC from your previous club

Ladies Time Tennis resumes next Wednesday 10th April and is moving back to its original time of 10am -12noon

Please see the hooks now provided for our clay court drag mats. Please leave them on the hooks after use to protect the bristles.
If any member notices any issues with the courts ie broken net bands etc please report the fault to the office and it will be repaired.

Gym
Underage Members
Over the past number of weeks we have had to remove several under age members from the gym. No club members under 16 year of age can use the gym without permission.
