Captains dinner to honour our 2023/2024 Captains - Save the Date

Our annual Captains dinner for members will take place this year on Friday 22nd March 2024.

This is an opportunity for members to come together to celebrate the fantastic year we have enjoyed with Susan and Patrick as Club Captains

DLTC Winter League - Week 1 Round up

Despite a stormy start to DLTC Winter league on Sunday 21st January our Ladies 2nd & 7th teams and our Men's 1st and 3rd teams secured wins.

Due to the weather conditions our Ladies 3rds, 4ths, 5ths and 6ths did not play their matches at the request of their opposition. Unplayed matches have been rescheduled and will be played during this week.

Court Requirements for Winter League Sunday 28th January

11am     9 Court 

2pm       9 Courts

All courts have been booked for league in the event of Courts 1 and Court 2 being unplayable

If the required number of outside courts are playable on the day and at the time of the matches, Bradshaw 1 and Bradshaw 2 will be released for booking on MyCourts.  

Ladies Wednesday Morning Time Tennis -  new January time

Ladies Time Tennis is taking a break for Christmas and will resume on Wednesday 10th January at the new time of 11am - 1pm.    

This time change is to accommodate trial access for this official Club Event to indoor courts for a 4 week period after which the trial will be reviewed.

All ladies welcome and we hope to see lots of new faces in January

Adult Coaching - Cardio Tennis

Our morning session will take place on Fridays at 10am starting on the 2nd of February for 8 weeks with 1 week off in February(mid term) and 2 weeks off for Easter. Price is €100 paid on the first day.

New Round Robins are now live on sltc.mycourts.co.uk. Great to have plenty of new entries in. Matches to be played by the end of February.

Tennis Ireland have brought out the 2024 calendar. This is great to have this in advance. You can now filter to the level of event you only wish to see and add it to your calendar on your mobile. Start planning for 2024.

Junior Opens

Well done to Mia Maselsky who made the final of the u12 Tour 100 event in DCU last Sunday. Mia won 3 matches on her way to the final. 

Junior Tennis Coaching Programme 

Our February Junior Coaching Term starts the week of January 29th. The final week of term is April 8th (after Easter holidays). All players in the current term will have 1st preference on places for this coming term.

Due to school and public holidays please note the dates of this term. No coaching the weeks of February 12th (mid term break) or weeks of March 25th and April 1st (Easter break).  No coaching on Monday February 5th or Monday March 18th. 

Monday Classes  - 6 week term. Adjusted due to public holidays

Tuesday to Saturday Classes - 8 week term.

Sign Up

Classes that were full last term. Add your child's name to the waiting list for the same class they had been in before. I will then manually add them to class and an invoice will be created. Current players will keep their spot in this term.

Classes which were not full in the current term are open to sign up. Just add the class to your basket on your smartclubcloud profile.

Tournament Squads

Players can add the name to the waiting list or if any issues I will set up invoices based on the hours each player is doing for the term based on this current term. If you are looking to adjust your hours per week let me know. 

All sign ups and payments must be completed in advance of your child's first class of term

Please see the hooks now provided for our clay court drag mats. Please leave them on the hooks after use to protect the bristles. 

If any member notices any issues with the courts ie broken net bands etc please report the fault to the office and it will be repaired.

Step Aerobics

We are exploring the possibility of adding step aerobics to our class timetable. The hope is to have it on Tuesday evenings @6pm. For those who may be interested can you email gym@suttonltc.com so we can gauge the number of people interested.

Gym Rules

We ask members to respect our gym rules.

- Footwear needs to be worn in the gym at all times.

- Swipe cards must be used to gain access to the gym. No jumping over the turnstile.
