National Indoor Junior Championships

Well done to Eoin Quinn who reached the final of the Boys u18 singles at the National Indoors in Castleknock. Eoin played fantastic tennis over both weekends but unfortunately lost a very tight final on Sunday. It’s a great start to the year for Eoin as he embarks on his final year of junior tennis.

Ladies Wednesday Morning Time Tennis -  new January time

Ladies Time Tennis is taking a break for Christmas and will resume on Wednesday 10th January at the new time of 11am - 1pm.    

This time change is to accommodate trial access for this official Club Event to indoor courts for a 4 week period after which the trial will be reviewed.

All ladies welcome and we hope to see lots of new faces in January

Winter League

Court Requirements for Winter League Sunday 21st January

11am     9 Court 

2pm       9 Courts

All courts have been booked for league in the event of Courts 1 and Court 2 being unplayable

If the required number of outside courts are playable on the day and at the time of the matches, Bradshaw 1 and Bradshaw 2 will be released for booking on MyCourts.  

Adult Coaching - Cardio Tennis

Our morning session will take place on Fridays at 10am starting on the 2nd of February for 8 weeks with 1 week off in February(mid term) and 2 weeks off for Easter. Price is €100 paid on the first day.

Junior Open Meeting

Last Friday we ran an information meeting for parents and junior players to help become more familiar with what to expect in tournaments outside the club. In all we had more than 50 in attendance. Big thanks to our speakers Kevin McKenna, Tanya Murtagh and Ciaran McCarthy.

New term will start January 29th. Classes will be live on smart club in next few days. Anyone in the current term who has a spot will keep their place in the next term. If spaces become available new players will be offered a spot.

Please see the hooks now provided for our clay court drag mats. Please leave them on the hooks after use to protect the bristles. 

If any member notices any issues with the courts ie broken net bands etc please report the fault to the office and it will be repaired.

Sutton's Orla Diamantino won the Womens over 50/55 at the Munster Masters in Cork at the weekend.

Niamh Darcy finished in second place in the Womens Over 35/40/45.
