Ladies 1st team win Class 1 Senior League title
A successful day for SLTC last Sunday with the Ladies 1st team winning the Class 1 title by beating Mount Pleasant I
Congratulations to team Captain Susan Hunter and Carmel O Hare, Una McEntee, Jennifer Kell, Heidi Higgins, and Channelle Dunne.
Special mention for super sub Barbara Reamsbottom who played 6 out of the 7 matches.
Murial Bolton Award
On Sunday Orna Morrissey was presented with The Murial Bolton Award by the DLTC. The award is made annually by the council to someone who has made a significant contribution to the leagues as an administrator or a player.
We as a club are very lucky to have Orna and she gives so much of her time to making sure that all teams, subs and players are registered correctly. As one of the bigger clubs in the country we have a lot of teams from junior to senior league. Orna’s work on behalf of the club ensures that so many of our members young and old get the chance to represent Sutton LTC. Make sure to say a big thank you next time you see her for all her hard work!
The round robin stage of Floodlit League has finished this week with the Ladies 3rd Team captained by Liz O Connor progressing to the play-offs.
Their next match is on Tuesday 7th November, At Home in Sutton LTC, against Clane 1
Please go along and support the Ladies in their matches
