Changing Rooms
Ongoing works in the Ladies & Gents changing rooms. All partitions are being fitted at the moment, there will be some disruptions while works are going ahead.
Annual Subscriptions
All invoices have been sent out. If you need assistance or have any questions regarding your membership please contact the office on (01) 832 3035 Andrea, Club Administrator will assist.
Safety Mirrors
Have been put in place at the entrance of the driveway. Please use these mirrors in order to exit the club safely, always remembering to slow down as you reach the roadway to look for pedestrians and cyclists.

Tennis
Leinster Tennis Junior League - U12 and U18 Finals
Congratulations to our 3 junior teams on reaching the Leinster Tennis finals which take place this Sunday 28th May.
Our U12 Girls 1st team will play Celbridge Girls in Rathgar at 11.30 am
We are hosting the U18 finals and we have two teams competing on home ground.
Our U18 1st Mixed team play Blackrock 3 at 12 noon followed by our U18 Boys 1st team against Clontarf 1 at 2.30pm
Well done to all our teams over the campaign. In all we had 10 junior teams and last Sunday 7 of the teams were involved in the semi finals.

Court requirements for Leinster U18 Finals Sunday 28th May
8 courts required from 12 noon until 4pm approx.
Mixed League 2023 - Sign Up
This is a very enjoyable inter-club DLTC Mixed League which is played on Friday evenings during July & August. Each team consists of 3 mixed doubles pairings. All players must be 18yrs or older by 31 December 2022. Matches are played at home in Sutton and away in other clubs as determined by the DLTC schedule
Round Robin Match dates: Fridays 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th July. Wed 2 August
Players should be available for 4 out of 5 round robin matches.
There are three classes in Mixed League:
Class 1: for players who have not played higher than Class 3 Summer League 2023
Class 2: for players who have not played higher than Class 5 Summer League 2023
Class 3: for players who have not played higher than Class 7 Summer League 2023
DLTC also take into account the position players have subbed in when determining eligibility for each class.

DLTC Summer League
We are 3 weeks into summer league with 2 more to go in the groups stages. Our mens 1sts picked up a valuable 4 points against Rathgar to put them in with a chance of the play offs. Ours ladies 2nds continued their great form as they made it 3 wins out of 3 to top their group.

We invite members to come down to club and support our players in their matches over the next 5 weeks
The number of courts reserved on the booking system is weather dependent as the Clay courts may not be playable in rainy conditions. When 10 courts are required for home matches, the 11th surplus court will be returned to the booking system when the weather allows

Junior Team Tennis
Junior Team Tennis 2023 is open for entry.
All juniors of any level aged 7 and above can enter. You will be part of a team but compete against other boys and girls of your own level. Every game you win goes towards your overall team points score.
Matches are arranged in your own time and will be the best of 11 games.
Entry has closed now and teams will be posted early next week.
Schools Tennis
Congratulations to the St. Fintan's Boys Minor team who took home the schools division 2 title on Monday. 6 of the 8 lads are Sutton members. The team is managed by another Sutton member Johanna Garry who teaches in the school.

If any member notices any issues with the courts i.e. broken net bands etc please report the fault to the office and it will be repaired.
Ladies Wednesday Morning Time Tennis
This social tennis takes place every Wednesday morning at 10am and caters for all level of player. All existing members and new members welcome.
Are you a new member, new to tennis, returning to tennis or want to enjoy organised games - this is the ideal place to take up your racquet and meet other members of SLTC
Our volunteer member, Carmel Gillespie, is on hand every Wednesday to organise the tennis from 10am-12pm. Tennis is followed by tea/coffee and all are welcome.
Sign up with Carmel in the Lounge at 9.50am every Wednesday.

SENIOR SQUASH
SQUASH BASH, AWARDS & WINNERS
What great night we had to end the Senior Squash Season. Thanks to Garret Buckley who organised the Squash Bash evening incorporating the Squash Awards and Senior Club Champs presentation of prizes.
Thanks to Sean Carty of Connect Medical & Electronics for his sponsorship of the Tournament. Michael Creaven for being a very entertaining MC.
Thanks to Karachi for the amazing food, David O'Shea for the great music and Martin Maher for the brilliant photos.
Awards were presented to Juniors Anna Ryan for most improved U/13, Tyler Dromgoole for Most Improved overall, Dylan Moran for player of the year.
The Eoin Ryan Coaches Award for Contribution to Squash went to Kate Yeomans for all the work she has done over the entire season.
The Team of the year was awarded to the Sutton Players who represented Irish Squash at the European Team Championships earning promotion to the Top Division for next year, Sam Buckley, Conor Moran, Oisin Logan and Alex Smith.
Awards were presented to our National Winners: Breanne Flynn and Sam Buckley who took Senior National Titles for the second year in a row and Dylan Moran, Conal Jackson and Christian Dromgoole who won Junior National Titles.
