Changing rooms
We are delighted to announce that the upgrade project of our changing rooms will commence on Tuesday 7 Feb. Changing rooms will be out of action for the next 6-8 weeks. We will keep your updated accordingly.
New Office Administrator
We would like to announce our new Office Administrator Andrea Moore who just started this week. Andrea has a wealth of experience in office administration and will be a great asset to the SLTC team. Feel free to introduce yourself and give Andrea a warm welcome.

Captains' Dinner Saturday 11th March
The Captains Dinner will take place this year on Saturday 11 March when we will celebrate our tennis captains over the past year, Linda O Flaherty and Ajay Prabhakaran.
“Tickets are €45 each for a delicious 3-course meal by Claire Brennan plus a pre-dinner Prosecco Reception starting at 7pmfollowed by 8pm dinner.
Tickets for the Club’s social highlight of the year will be sold ONLY via our online system SmartClub and you will be able to purchase multiple tickets if required in one transaction.

Eoin Considine
We wish to announce that Eoin Considine will be leaving our coaching team to take up his new role as Director of Tennis with Glasnevin LTC.
Eoin started working in our programme as a teenager, and in the 10 years since, he has established himself as one the top coaches in the country. His passion and dedication for coaching has helped so many members young and old to improve and find joy through tennis.
We are very grateful for the positive influence Eoin has had on tennis in Sutton LTC and wish him every success in his new role
Winter League - Week 2 Round Up
Week 2 of the Round Robin stage of Winter league saw our mens and ladies teams facing tough opposition in all Classes.
The Ladies 1st team and Mens 3rd team continued their winning streak with the Ladies 1st team in Class 1 beating Mount Pleasant 1 2-1 and the Mens 3rd team in Class 4 beating Glenageary 5 2-1. They were were joined by the Mens 2nd team who secured a 2-1 win over Lansdowne 1,

Senior Round Robins
New phase of senior round robins begins next week. Text Rob Turpin if you would like to join. Players who played no matches in the last round will be taken out. Text Rob if you want to stay in
Junior Development Coaching
The next term of Junior Coaching begins the week of January 30th. The term runs until the week of March 27th.
No coaching on February 6th for bank holiday. Monday classes prices have been adjusted to 7 weeks. All other classes are 8 week terms.
No coaching the week of February 13th with mid term break. We will have events for kids that week.
**Players in current term have 1st preference on their spot in our February 2023 term**

Saturday Matchplay
New term starts this week
Our Saturday matchplay for girls at 10am, 11amand 12pm along with our Boys matchplay at 1pmwill be open for sign up from January 17th. As we have more spaces in these sessions we do not use the waiting list. To sign up just add the class to your basket and complete payment to confirm the place.

Ladies Wednesday Morning Time Tennis
This social tennis takes place every wednesday morning at 10am and caters for all level of player. New members are especially welcome.
Our volunteer member, Carmel Gillespie, is on hand every wednesday to organise the tennis from 10am-12pm. Tennis is followed by tea/coffee and all are welcome.
