Junior Opens
William Kell
Congrats to William Kell who won the u18 singles at the Lansdowne Junior Open. William also went to No.1 in Ireland in the boys u16 national rankings this week. Fantastic achievement for William.Willian has also been selected to play for Ireland at the U16 European Cup event in Valencia this monthCoaches Corner
Next time you play a practice set or match forget about the score! Make the focus about 1 shot you really want to improve on and commit to doing it for the full match. The real challenge is can you stick with it when the score gets close knowing it might mean you lose but in the long term you will benefit. An example might be always accelerating the racket on your 2nd serve rather than pushing it in when the score gets close. -

Gym
Gym tip of the week
Add as much incline as you can, ensure it is safe for you to do too. Try this when using a treadmill to burn those extra calories and feel an extra burn.
