We are delighted that our 2 Senior National Winners Breanne Flynn and Sam Buckley have been asked to present the Master Prizes after the finals on Saturday night.

Irish Squash are rolling out a new Tournament Software system for all events. Some of you might already be familiar with it.
It is being used by Mt Pleasant for the Mt Pleasant Junior Open in November. If you plan to take part in any events including ONE DAY Tournaments you should look at it to familiarise yourself with the website.
We will let you know more details as we get them.

The entry is now open for the Limerick Senior Open 2022 (Tour 7 on the Irish Squash Calendar).
This tournament is a PSA Ranking Event and is being held in Limerick Lawn Tennis Club from Friday March 11th to Sunday March 13th.

Eoin Quinn - National Champion!
Big congrats to Eoin Quinn who secured his first national title, winning the National Spring Championships held in Westwood Clontarf. Eoin went into the draw unseeded but went home with the title after 4 tough matches. Well done Eoin from all in Sutton LTC!
We got the sunshine for Winter Champs finals day!
loads of happy kids played tennis non stop all day and had plenty time to all hang out and have fun like the good old days. Big thanks to Barbara, Christina, Pam, Trish and of course Mark Reamsbottom for all the help running the tournament

Dear Members,
The Annual General Meeting of Sutton Lawn Tennis Club will be held on Monday 21stMarch 2022 at 8:00pm.
The Agenda for thisAGM and minutes of the previous AGM held on 29th March 2021 were emailed separately and are displayed on the Club noticeboard for your information.
Supplementary AGM papers (the Honorary Secretary’s report, the Honorary Treasurer’s report and 2021 Annual Accounts) will be issued in the coming weeks.
Details of the Annual Subscription rates will also accompany these papers.
We are seeking new nominations for Management Committee and welcome nominations from any member.
- We would like to encourage more participation from women and young adult members of the Club
- Similarly, members with Marketing and Social Media skills are also welcome
If you are interested in becoming part of the Management Committee for 2022 please indicate your interest to the Club Manager, Srdjan Kisic (srdjan.kisic@suttonltc.com) who will assist you with completion of the Nomination Form.

Fair Usage Policy of the Airhall
Following representations from members, the Management Committee has introduced a new Fair Usage Policy for the Airhall based on the limited availability of this facility for our members.
Commencing 1st of March 2022, the following changes to the booking rules will come into effect:
The following Tennis Booking Rule will be removed:
- Maximum 1 booking per member per day on Bradshaw 1 and 2 when covered during the winter months.
The following new Tennis Booking Rule will be added:
- Maximum 3 hours of play per member in any given 7 day period on Bradshaw 1 and 2 when covered during the winter months.
This will be monitored for the next 6 weeks and the Management Committee will review this policy again before the Airhall bookings reopen on the system in Autumn 2022.
Members are also reminded that all players must be named on the booking system.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated by the Management Committee.

Snooker
2020 Championships completed
After a two year delay there was great reliefwhen the 2020 Championships were completed last week-end. The Cusack dynasty's grip on the Bunny Carr Trophy was broken when Harry Alvarez-O'Neill proved to be too clinical when defeating his father Gerry in the singles final.
The Luke Mahon Doubles Trophy was regained by a very efficient Gavin Fitzgerald and partner Damien Morris who scored comfortably over an unusually out-of-sorts Mick Slattery/ Gerry Lawlor pairing.
The 2021 season was a blank and it is anticipated that the current 2022 season will be back on schedule by year's end with a packed Autumn programme of events.
To achieve this ambition it is expected that all the events will be match scheduled as distinct from the cutomery casual fixture arrangements.
Thursday Night Blitz continues at 8pm.
March Hares League is underway and finishes by 25th March 2022.
