    New Team Members

Firstly I would like to take this chance to thank all of the members throughout the club for making this such a welcoming and great place to work. As many of you already know, I will be finishing my last day tomorrow, Friday the 10th in the gym and finishing up in the fitness industry after 12 years. Unfortunately, due to injuries I sustained last year it has become unmanageable to continue in this line of work and it is time to move on to something new. It has been a real pleasure to work here and I could not have thought of a better environment to finish in this industry. Everyone has made me feel at home here and a real part of the club. The club has also supported me through my injuries and given me every opportunity to work through my injuries and I would like to share my sincere appreciation to Srdjan and the board for their understanding and help along the way. I do plan to still pop out and visit regularly so you haven't seen the last of me yet and when I have recovered more from my injuries I will be back out for all the games of tennis I have been promised and have put off for over a year now. Thank you again to everyone. I will miss the industry, the club and all of the members here and wish everyone all the best in the years to come. -Stephen Kenny-Gains

    New Team Members

And now you may be thinking out with the old and in with the new so I hope everyone will welcome our new Gym Manager Kieran Needle to the team and make him feel as welcome as you all made me feel. Kieran has fantastic industry experience and is looking forward to contributing to the club and working with everyone through their training. We also have Conor Fallon and Dion Bird who have joined our gym team alongside Hannah and Alessia. If you haven't had the chance to meet them yet, make sure to keep an eye out for them and introduce yourself so we can keep that connection between our members and the team.

    Restriction Updates

Many of you have been asking recently if there will be changes to the current procedures surrounding classes, bookings, capacity and other restrictions and the answer is yes. We will be waiting for further guidance from Ireland active as changes to restrictions are made and will implement these changes as smoothly as possible to avoid any sudden changes to everyone's routine. Classes may be eligible to return indoors in the coming month and we will look at all options in this scenario to find the best balance between bringing classes back indoors, without congesting the gym any further. There will be a review to the amount of attendees per gym slot and the necessity of booking gym slots. Many members have expressed their interest in retaining the booking system for the purposes of both knowing the amount of people in the gym at any given time and for accountability for their sessions. We will do our best to find a balance as restrictions change to accommodate the majority of members and we hope you will be patient with us as we trial any new changes and work through some teething issues along the way.
